This is a picture of our crews stabilizing the right-of-way on Pine Mountain, AR. This job consist of 400 foot slopes with a 2:1 grade. Products utilized on this site were GreenArmor and Flex-Terra Hydromulch at 4,000 lbs./Acre.

This site was a troubled section of the Mid-Continental Express Pipeline (MEP) that crossed through MS into AL and LA. Greenway was hired by Blackwell Enterprises to assist with the installation of GreenArmor and Flex-Terra though one of the roughest sections of the right-of-way. It was a privilege to be hired by one of the largest and most successful grassing companies in the right-of-way restoration business.

This site consisted of one mile of levee surrounding the cooling pond for South Mississippi Electric Power Association. The levee borders Black Creek which is designated as one of the most wild and scenic places in America. After large rain events, Black Creek can flow out of its banks and threaten the cooling facilities levees. To protect the banks of the levee from washing out, Greenway installed Flex-Terra hydromulch and the GreenArmor system in place of concrete or rip rap as the most cost effective manner of controlling erosion. This method not only saved money but produced a green alternative to rock and concrete.
